Who We Are

Our
Story

London made
this possible.

There is no natural reason for dancehall and bachata to share a dancefloor. They come from different islands, different languages, different histories. But London has a way of collapsing distances — of putting people in the same room who would never have found each other anywhere else.

Caribbean and Latin communities built lives in this city, raised families here, threw parties here, and somewhere along the way started going to each other's parties. The music mixed. The crowd became one crowd.

Casita is what we called that crowd when we finally gave it a home. Not a fusion concept. Not a genre experiment. A recognition of something that was already happening — two sets of roots that had been growing toward each other in the same soil.

London's Caribbean + Latin Crossover Night

London has always been a city that puts people in the same room who would never have found each other anywhere else — and nowhere is that truer than on a dancefloor.

Casita is London's Caribbean and Latin crossover night: a space where Dancehall, Reggaeton, Dembow, Soca and Bashment share equal ground with Bachata and Merengue. No genre takes the lead. The 50/50 split is the whole point.
